Public Beach Access Just Up the Street
The Key Lime House is located on a quiet dead end street with a public beach access just up the street. It is within walking distance of the famous picturesque town center of Seaside. Seaside was made famous in the late 90's when a movie production crew was scouting for a location to film The Truman Show. They needed a "perfect" town to go with the "perfect" life Jim Carrey's character was supposed to be living. Seaside was that town.
Key Lime House is surrounded by Watercolor and Nature Walk residential developments while still remaining secluded from the sounds of civilization.
Pluses include plenty of off-street parking, a private yard, outside shower, large laundry room, fresh bright colors throughout, and 2900 sq ft of living space.
This home can be divided up into two or three separate areas for a vacation or business trip for co-workers, friends or family. Each unit has a separate outside entrance.
UPSTAIRS: Two bedrooms, a Florida room, two balconies, two baths, a living room, and a Kitchen.(sleeps 8)
DOWNSTAIRS LAUNDRY: Washer and Dryer, and space for folding.
DOWNSTAIRS: THREE BEDROOMS 2 KitchenS , 2 baths, 2 queen bedrooms, and a bunk bedroom, In addition level 1 has an open deck, and covered porch.
Perfect vacation spot for large groups with three separate family units. Plenty of parking for everyone's cars. Grandparents, and extended families have their own space.
Key Lime House is located in an area that still has the old charm of the coast. Not too much development along the Gulf front, well off the major highway (US98). Highway 30A has just recently been designated as a scenic highway by the State of Florida. You can walk to the beach from Key Lime House, yet it is far enough away on a dead end street, that the traffic moving on 30A is not noticeable. We do have a nice super market nearby (Public’s). There is a local coffee house, local Pizzeria, and a local Fresh Market grocery/café that is full of the local flavor. A bicycle rental is just around the corner on 30A. There are two state parks nearby (Point Washington, and Grayton Beach). With places like Seaside, Seagrove Beach, Rose Mary Beach, Grayton Beach, Blue Mountain Beach all around us (some to the East and Some to the West) there is plenty to explore.
If you have a mind to go shopping you are in luck for traveling back to the West on Highway 98 approximately 12 miles is San Destin. There you will find a new shopping center called Grand Boulevard Mall. Next is Baytown Wharf which is patterned after the French Quarter in New Orleans And within ½ mile an outlet mall called Silver Sands that stretches for ½ mile. Another couple of miles to the West you will find The Commons Mall it is also new and WOW it is something to see with its upscale shops and 16 screen motion picture theater. Panama City is about a 20 minute drive to the East. Remember your spring break days, well Panama City Beach is alive and well. It attracts a record number of college students every year.
Our beach stretches for over 100 miles from Pensacola to Panama City with some of the whitest beaches in the world. It is awe inspiring every time I see it.
